Hello everyone! As the saying goes, long time no see! Let's get right to it then. Here is a card I made at my card and craft meetup over the summer. I used pattern papers for the layering background and flag end. I stamped a sentiment in a coordinating color from that middle background paper. And put the sentiment on a stitched circle die. I love the subtle detail the stitching it gives the card. For more texture, I added a piece of wood "tape" cut diagonially. I tied small bow in natural jute twine under the sentiment. I thought it brought out the whimsicalness of thw pattern paper. Double-tap to edit.
hello everyone.
here is a birthday card I made with items from my recent haul from the Scrapbook Expo. here I used the downton Abbey papers. they are gorgeous! I was found a picture off my pinterest board for a layout. I had a wonderful friend in mind while making it. I you hope you liked my card. Thanks for stamping by! papers: recollections, downton abbey. inks: momento tuxedon black, grape jelly stamps: Simon says birthday wishes. lawn fawn (christmas) Hello everyone!
Another mobile post here, this time with a few wedding cards! I was struggling with getting started with making these wedding cards. You can see I drew upon the inspiration guide for two them by Laurie Willison and Suzanne Dahlberg Once I got the creativity jump started I didn't want to stop! but at least I accomplished to make the cards I needed for the upcoming weddings I'll be attending in the next few months. Next on my list are to make a few birthday cards, baby shower card, plus a few "hello" cards... for another weekend I guess. I hope you enjoyed the cards and thanks for stamping by! Hello Everyone! Was away for the long weekend (Memorial day) and then it was back to work, gym and the watching the basketball playoffs (go Warriors!). Found it a little challenging to make time to create something -- even though I wanted to! I had a graduation party to go to this weekend and made three cards to go along with gifts (supplies below). The first card is for the graduate and the other two were for the proud parents. I have a few more graduate cards to make (HS and M.S.) so I might amend this post. Also I have a few more birthday cards to make (belatedly) so I hope to create some more and add those up this weekend as well. Thanks for stopping by! Graduate Card: Made this for a female HS Graduate, so this has a slightly feminine touch. Looking back, I wished I had put a few rhinestones for some bling! (Although I kind of like the texture from the paper on the back side. Makes it looked like I did some dry embossing!). I also popped up the from panel with some foam tape. To show my n00b-ness, I forgot to right down the dimensions to this card. You might be able to tell that it is a little wider than 5.25. Sorry! I think it is 5.25 x 6?
