Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I have quite a few projects to catch you up on. The first are Father's day cards I did this year. I am blessed to have my dad, grandfathers and father-in-law to share these cards with. These cards are mainly paper layering cards. When I want to challenge myself, I will put together cards using patterned paper. I really like mixing papers within a pack, as well as trying to incorporate paper from other packs. Tell me: Do you like to use patterned paper when you make cards? or do you make your own patterned paper? Leave a comment below. Products used:

As the saying goes, long time no see! Let's get right to it then. Here is a card I made at my card and craft meetup over the summer. I used pattern papers for the layering background and flag end. I stamped a sentiment in a coordinating color from that middle background paper. And put the sentiment on a stitched circle die. I love the subtle detail the stitching it gives the card. For more texture, I added a piece of wood "tape" cut diagonially. I tied small bow in natural jute twine under the sentiment. I thought it brought out the whimsicalness of thw pattern paper.
