A few weeks ago, I gave a preview of some of the Xmas cards I was working on. Now that I have sent out the majority of my cards I thought I would post them here.
I started on a few of these in September and October trying out different techniques. One area of inspiration was/is the lovely Kristina Werner, with her holiday card series there is always something new to attempt. Hopefully all these pictures come through. I run into issues when using mobile version of my blog editor. I get all my pictures added in my entry and then post the blog but when I go to check it, I find that some of the pictures are missing. I had the bright idea to do about 5 sets of ten cards each. I probably made about 50 cards this year, I ended up with only two left over (hmm! better go check my 'list') Wishing you a very happy and healthy holidays! Thank you for stamping by my blog and cheers to a new year ahead! -liz Hello everyone
I've been crafting, but not posting as regularly. Here are two cards I made in November. The first card was for my dad. I used a paper pack from MME (My Mind's Eye) and a stamp and cut set I picked up from Michael's. (i think it is from hero arts) The second card I made used paper from the SSS (Simon Says Stamp) card kits. Looking at it again I think I would have preferred to put a happy birthday sentiment in the lower left corner for balance. But I still like how it turned out. For these cards I really just wanted to used up the paper I have been accumulating. I hope you liked them and thanks for stamping by! Last one for today.
Here is a thank you card I made using Tim Holtz watercolor paper, watercolors from Michael's and the "ink smooshing" technique. stamp sentiment was made using an alphabet set from Lawn Fawn. Thanks for stamping by! Hello again, a preview of some of the Christmas cards I have been working on. Here I used a kit from Archiver's featuring Hero Arts. A little hiccup when I first received the kit, the inks were missing. Kudos to Archiver's and HA for remedying that issue and sending out the inks quickly. Of course that was almost two months ago...
I posted on Twitter this group picture But also attaching close ups of the individual cards. I hope you enjoy them and thanks for stamping by! |
