catching you up with my September projects.
Here are three birthday cards I made and a tag.
I hope you like what i made. Did these all in one sitting. So just a couple hours of love put into them...
The first card is for my great grandmother who reached the cenntenial milestone! How wonderful is that!
The papers i used were Dowton Abbey paper pad. I picked this up at the scrapbook expo earlier this year and have only used it once before.
I never watched the show but I thought this paper pad was too gorgeous to pass up!
I added 100 in gold embossing (Recollections) i believe the number set I used is also Michael's Recollections brand.
card base is neenah solar white 110lb.
The second card I have is a sweet 16 for my cousin. Pattern paper is from simon says card kit. I added wink of stella on the ballons for some sparkle. Enamel dots are from doodlebug (lily white) sentiment is mixed between stamp sets. Inks are momento and simon.
Not pictured is the inside and used the birthday wishes stamp set to mirror the pattern paper on the front.
This last project is a tag i made. The embellishment i picked up a michaels a while ago and never used! A friend was going on a trip and i thought was perfect for a bon voyage. I added color to the wood embellishment with a distress marker and momento dew drop ink pad and wink of stella for sparkle. The clouds are stamped in simon ink (mini ink pad) and lightly colored in with my prismacolor watercolor pencils. I wrapped this tag around my gift in jute (michaels) and embellished it with the mini clothes pin i took from that owl embellishment just so that the tag stayed put.
