Hello again!
Here is the Simon Wednesday, June 3 challenge - Make it Masculine. I have a hard time with masculine cards so this was a good challenge for me to get away from the wink of stella. In addition to that I also wanted to experiment with masking off lines and using my mini ink blender tools. After all that inking, the rule of three prevails. I also like the ombre trend, but I do not have any ombre stamp pads, so I tried out the blending technique with the mini ink blenders. Turned out okay. I do like those nice crisp lines the masking/washi tape leaves on the paper. I have to admit, I messed up on the stamping the middle sentiment (just loaded up too much ink), but per Jennifer McGuire, I tried to find a way to salvage it and ended up re-stamping the sentiment and popping it up on fun foam. Ta da! A little added depth and no harm done. Supplies: Paper: Recollections White Ink: Green - Color Box Petal Point Pigment Ink Stamps: Penny Black - Sweet Wishes Comments are closed.
