Hello everyone
a big project I did recently was making save the dates for my sister. I did the prep in stages, First was all the paper cutting. I saved my paper trimmer by going to kinkos to cut my paper in half to make it easier to die cut. Then I used my spellbinder rectangle dies to cut down my paper into various layers. I also cut through neenah solar white for my die cut hearts and then inked blended with antique linen and vintage paper to give a sandy look. (I still have the callous from the blending :-l) On my lightest panel I also ink blended with a starfish stencil for dimension and slightly tone on tone. In the heart I inked two starfish, one in red, the other purple (my sister's colors!) For the text I used a hero arts alphabet stamp set. Hardest part was to get the spacing to fit the center panel. To make this project easier on myself I broke down and got the MISTI. Oh my goodness. Thank you MISTI. This project was hard enough but the MISTI saved me a lot of heartache with spacing and repeat stamping. #yay To embellish I added wink of stella to the red and purple starfish. I added purple, red and blue enamel dots by doodlebug. Supplies Simon says stamp card stock: Comments are closed.
