hello again everyone! catching up on posting the cards I've made this month. Earlier this month I created a child's birthday card (girl) and a baptism card (male).
I had fun making both. for the birthday card I find these felt embellishments at cost plus probably a year ago in their gift cards/package area. they have tiny clothespins on them but are easy to take off. I did an ink blending technique and just went to town on the pinks and purples from my momento dye ink dew drops. of course had to use wink of stella for glitter enhancement to the background. I used a balloon and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp set birthday bits. the name I spelled out using a set I received as a gift for Christmas. I believe they are from hobby lobby. ink is tuxedo black. for the baptism card, I have a say I struggled one because it was male (and I struggle with masculine cards) and two I didn't have any religious themed stamp sets. Hero Arts has a prayers set, but haven't purchased it. I looked to pinterest for inspiration and found a card I thought I could CASE. plus it challenged me to use my paper stash! papers and sentiment are from Simon Says Stamp kit (2015) and love using the rubber alpha stamp set from hobby lobby. ink is moment dew drop (danube blue) I hope you liked my cards and thanks for stamping by!
