this post will catch me up on my recent craft projects. had some small gifts I needed to send out, but of course wanted to "dress" up a bit. Had the starfish stamp set still out and it had this sand dollar in it. Fit this tag width perfectly. I threaded the green twine through the top and around my little packages. I was able to include a short note on the back to my recipient. Hope you liked my quick project. hello again everyone!
Here is a set of watercolor cards I made. I used various techniques (wet on wet, wet on dry, smooshing). As you can see I used mostly broad strokes. I hope you enjoy and thanks for stamping by! Getting back to updating my card making over the last month. This one was done with watercolor. The floral stamp is mama elephant. I saw it on Amy R's site (prarirepaperandink.TypePad.com) and HAD to have it! Really loving experimenting with watercolor. This was a semi no line watercolor test. Supplies -Sentiment is from Simon Says stamp (2015 card kit). -Card base is Neenah -Watercolor panel is Strathmore pre cut panels that I cut down via a rectangle panel die by spellbinders -vellum is scrap by recollections -ink: momento tuxedo black -watercolor: artist's craft by Michael's (cake disks) |
