Hello everyone!
Here is another card I made. Another coworker is transitioning so of course I made a card at the last minute. It follows pretty much what I had envisioned but I still think the card it a little 'flat'. Papers came from the Simon summer it. Sentiment is from lawn fawn (same one i have used on my other farewell cards) For the sail boat I die cut three copies from white cardstock and layered them up with tombow mono liquid glue. I cut three boats from pattern paper and then mixed and matched. (I thought that the boat die and the boat stamp matched up but sadly they do not. Hence the paper piecing) I felt like something was missing so I added a strip of paper at the bottom. Even though this was a masculine card I had to add some wink of stella to the clouds and waves. I put some craft foam on the back of the cards for some extra dimension. but still felt it needed something. That's when I wrapped some of the string at the bottom strip. I liked the frayed ends for extra detail. Simon's STAMPtember is wrapping up. I hope to challenge myself to create a little more before the month is over. Which leads me to ask: what are you working on your end? Halloween cards? fall/thanksgiving? dare I say Christmas/holiday cards? Have fun creating! I hope you enjoyed the card I made and thanks for stamping by! Comments are closed.
