Hi Everyone! Keeping things rolling with the posts! Two of the cards in this post used this My Favorite Things This Week's Sketch 161.. I have a growing Pinterest board of card sketches and I found inspiration with this one. One thing I like when I use card sketches is that it gets me into pattern papers that I have been neglecting/hoarding. The "fondness" card used - pattern papers from a Simon Says Card Kit (2015) - Spellbinder's die Shapeabilities Die D-Lites Petite Labels 1 - Doodle Bug Lily White Glitter Enamel dots - Sentiment: Hero Arts Stamp and Cut (alpha) - Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Blush (SSS) and Lilac Roses (Momento) sponged onto the tag - Vellum (Joann crafts) - Card base (Neenah solar white) The birthday card used - pattern paper from My Mind's eye - Spellbinder's die Shapeabilities Die D-Lites Petite Labels 1 - Sentiment: Stampendous Happy Messages (I think this was one of my first stamp sets!) - Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distressed Inks sponged onto the tag -Card base (Neenah solar white) This third card was a sympathy card I made using pattern papers from one my Simon Says Stamp card kits (2015). I had this scrap piece of paper with the circle die cut (because I just couldn't part with the pattern paper). It just inspired me to keep things simple and backed it with another pattern paper from that card kit behind it. I really liked how it turned out. I sponged a spellbinder's tag with some Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distressed Inks. I added the jute (Micheal's) for a bit of texture and dimension. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts (CL342) mixed sentiment set . Card base is Neenah Solar White. Thanks for stamping by!
