Hello again everyone!
Another mobile post. A couple more belated birthday cards. The balloon card is similar to the one I did in my "let's celebrate" post. using the most recent stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp kit. Inside sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I repeated the balloons on the inside as well. I used a pre-made card base. (came in a pre-packaged assorted box. gift from a friend) Inks are momento and sss blush pale pink. I added some wink of stella on the balloons for a little sparkle. for the strings I used a pencil. For the donut card I followed along with Connie Stewart (simplysimplestamping.com). When I saw her video on YT I had someone in mind that I *knew* I needed to make this card. Well, took me about four attempts and lost a circle die in the process. But I really liked the way it turned out. Paper is Neenah. Inks are momento. I added some wink of stella on the 'icing' and white dots with a gelly roll pen. For the candle card I used the same pre-made card base as the balloon card. Candle stamp came from a previous sss stamp kit (I think it is birthday wishes). Inks are moment (candles) and color box for the flames. I used some paper strips from my scrap pile. Inside sentiment is also from the same stamp kit. Hoping to get started on my Christmas cards during the holiday weekend (am I behind?!) Been following on Twitter and YouTube re: crafting happiness: Check out simonsaysstamp.com/blog for Stamptember goodies and fun. I haven't been "crafting" for long, but looks like a HUGE product release. There is also a creative conference (my words) in October. All the big names will be there, Kristina Werner, Jennifer McGuire, Laura Bassen. How much fun that would be!! Price is a little high.. but if I keep this 'hobby' up; maybe one day! :) Hero Arts (heroarts.com) has revamped their website. They are a local company here and love their products. Plus they have a ton of creative ideas. There are a few give a ways with purchase and free shipping (I think over $50). Fun! Catherine Pooler launched her "Stamp of Approval" box. All the previews look amazing! Sad to say it is sold out, but the products are to be released in 2016 through their respective companies. I hear Catherine's putting together a Christmas box... I can't wait! Well thanks again for my geeky moment. I hope to create more frequently through "Stamptember" Thanks for stamping by! :) (September 1) Comments are closed.
